SocialSign.in Wi-Fi Terms of Use

1. How This Works

SocialSign.in provides network authentication and access technology that allows End Users to connect to a Venue’s Wi-Fi network.

• SocialSign.in authenticates your access
• The Venue provides and controls the internet connection
• Your internet usage is governed by the Venue’s rules and applicable law

Once you are connected, SocialSign.in does not control, monitor, or manage your internet activity.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

SocialSign.in’s Role

• Provides the Wi-Fi login, authentication, and access flow
• Manages the captive portal and related technology
• Does not provide internet service
• Does not monitor, filter, or control content accessed online after authentication

Venue’s Role

• Owns or operates the Wi-Fi network
• Controls bandwidth, filtering, and availability
• Establishes acceptable use rules for internet access
• Is responsible for compliance with applicable laws related to internet use

3. Venue Internet Acceptable Use Terms

(Applies to all End Users after authentication)

By using this Wi-Fi network, you agree that you will not:

• Use the network for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to bypass network security or access restricted systems
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code
• Engage in activities that infringe intellectual property rights
• Interfere with the network’s operation or other users’ access

The Venue reserves the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access at any time for operational, security, or legal reasons.

In addition to the restrictions above, you agree not to use the Wi-Fi network for activities that are commonly prohibited under standard internet acceptable use policies, including but not limited to hacking, copyright infringement, distribution of malware, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks.

4. Age Requirement

The Wi-Fi network is intended for use by individuals aged 13 or older, unless expressly permitted by the Venue. By accessing the network, you represent that you meet this requirement or have permission from the Venue to use the network.

5. No Expectation of Privacy

Wi-Fi networks are inherently insecure.

You acknowledge that:

• Data transmitted over Wi-Fi may be intercepted
• Neither SocialSign.in nor the Venue guarantees the security of transmissions
• You use the network at your own risk

6. Privacy

SocialSign.in’s collection and use of personal data is governed by its Privacy Policy.

Venues may collect or process data separately in connection with providing Wi-Fi access or operating their premises. SocialSign.in is not responsible for a Venue’s privacy practices.

7. Intellectual Property

All SocialSign.in technology, software, trademarks, and branding are owned by or licensed to SocialSign.in and are protected by intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted except as necessary to use the Services as intended.

8. Disclaimers

THE WI-FI NETWORK AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

Neither SocialSign.in nor the Venue guarantees:

• Network availability or speed
• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• Error-free or secure operation

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• SocialSign.in is not liable for internet content accessed through the Venue’s network
• SocialSign.in is not liable for acts or omissions of the Venue
• SocialSign.in is not liable for loss of data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocialSign.in and the Venue from claims arising from your misuse of the Wi-Fi network or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination of Access

Access may be suspended or terminated at any time by SocialSign.in or the Venue, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Acceptance

By clicking “I Agree,” you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms
• You agree to be bound by them
• You understand that SocialSign.in provides access authentication only
• You understand that your internet usage is subject to the Venue’s policies
